They said it could never happen. They said it would never be. But in the Isle of Sheppey, on Wednesday 26th August 2009, in what he's calling the 'First Time, Last Time, Only Time', PTW Promoter Petey Staniforth will step into the ring as a wrestler - against the wildly popular "100 Percent" Dan Edge. The history between these two is intense. Petey's lack of morals is infamous, in his own words - "I'm a Luton boy...and we don't play fair!"; and we can tell you that the rumours are true, and the match is a No Disqualification, Anything Goes match. We don't need to hype this one...and all you need to do is be there!
We have two new PTW Champions in the month of August! The PTW World Champion is international star Conor Hurley, and the PTW British Title has changed hands, Sean Midnight lost it in a gauntlet match to Tommy Stevens, who lost it to D-Mon; who then due to a sneak attack from The Untouchables was forced to forfeit the title, which lead to it being won by G 'The Lap Dancing Superstar'! These are exciting times in Power Trip Wrestling, so keep up with the PTW website for the latest news!
PTW have also gained a company lawyer, courtesy of the 'First Lady of PTW' Chrissie. His name is Justin Case, and he is clearly here to make sure that things are kept in a legal, decent manner; and that Petey Staniforth's dubious and shady business dealings can no longer get out of hand and affect the wrestlers and fans.
Once the PTW Summer Tour has finished, in line with the typical PTW hard work ethic; on Sunday 6th September, we will be heading to Corby, Northamptonshire as Power Trip Wrestling will present "Family Business", in what will be a new town and a new venue for us. Wrestlers confirmed to be there are on the 'Upcoming Shows' page already, and matches are being added as they're announced. We're excited about being there...we appreciate the opportunity...and we're going to slam the competition right out of the water!

We can tell you with excitement, that PTW have just announced another working relationship with a fellow promotion, this time with UKW (UK Wrestling Experience) in Yorkshire, England.
